The Accountant analyses financial information, performs and oversees financial activities (records of assets, profit and loss, tax liability and transfers between our entities). You are also the accounting SAP champion. You report to the group’s Financial Control Leader and you are based in Battice, Belgium. 

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• You are responsible for the coordination of the financial reporting of the Belgian entity of us and are the key contact point for accounting. You also support other entities and participate to corporate finance projects.
• You oversee financial statements prepared by the shared services team (IFRS standards).
• You supervise tax filing, monitor returns and perform transfer pricing documentation and validate fixed asset and intangibles registers with the support of other departments.
• You lead specific financial processes (ex: sales, procure to pay, order to cash, intangibles, etc.) in order to continuously control and improve financial procedures. 
• You maintain the accounting and process book and ensure proper information of concerned teams
• You are the Finance SAP champion. 
• You are the key contact person for audits.
• You adopt exemplary behaviour regarding safety and participate actively in safety promotion and improvement.

YOUR PROFILE

• You hold a bachelor's degree in accounting.
• A previous experience in an international industrial environment is a plus.
• Your are fluent in French and English. 
• You master SAP and Excel. 
• You have a good knowledge of financial flows and processes while understanding global business and local particularities. 
• You have excellent analytical skills, pay attention to detail and work in all accuracy and confidentiality. 
• Your are pro-active, customer-oriented and are a good planner and organiser. 
• You are flexible and open-minded.
